Shitey Sunday Picture Post – Hair!

I’ve had enough of men and their hair (or lack of it). This week it’s the turn of the ladies and I’ve chosen some nice, easy styles for the busy, modern woman.

*

DOG HAIR

To bring out your inner bitch

*

*

DEER HAIR or GIRAFFE HAIR

At first it looked like a deer, now I think it’s a giraffe.

*

*

BEAR HAIR

This is a bear made of hair

*

*

ANOTHER BEAR HAIR

This is another bear made of hair

*

*

BUNNY RABBIT HAIR

Bright eyes, burning like fire

*

*

STAG HAIR

The Monarch of the Glen – on your head.

*

*

HORSE HAIR

I know, I know – this is a man. A ginger man. But look at his horse!!

*

*

BIRD’S NEST HAIR

WITH A MINI BEAR CLIMBING UP THE HAIR

Look at me, I’m like a tree!

A sweaty tree.

*

*

GUITAR HAIR

Is it a guitar? It’s too big for a violin, too small for a double bass.

Yes, it’s a guitar. Strum that thing, hairdresser.

*

*

HELICTOPER HAIR

What’s that thing on her nose?

*

*

ANOTHER HELICOPTER HAIR

I love helicopter hair.

*

*

AMERICAN HAIR

And finally, a little present for my Collected Americans -

The Statue of Liberty

  1. That must be bitching to brush that out again afterwards lol. Either that or it’s just electric clippers and hack it all off ;-)

I think I’ll stick with my Jo Grant look.

  4. Genius post, Dotty, though it must be said that, as a bear, I object to being someone’s hair. I’m a poet and don’t know it (go away, McGonagall, not now). The Staue of Liberty hair does have one glaring problem, you get tiny people looking out through windows in your forehead. I’m reblogging this.

Call me a spoilsport, but I’d rather people concentrated on developing what’s inside their heads than the dead stuff on the outside.

    Hair today, gone tomorrow.

    I remain, madam, your servant.

  6. Nothing says sexy like a portrayal of a dead… or live… animal on top of the old cranium… I guess. I think the guitar hair might actually be a bass chello of some sort, but I don’t suppose that really matters… The dog one is just plain creepy.

  8. Unbelievable! I love fashion but I don’t think I could sit there for hours getting a weird hairstyle. I get enough looks as an alien terminator human!!

  9. Dear Dotty,

What great styles! Why don’t I think of cool things like that? I’m not a natural comedian, I guess!

  10. Dear Dotty,
I like the hair pictures. I’ll have a sheep hairstyle please. How early will I have to get up to do that every day? Some people have hair-brained ideas don’y they.
I know. It’s not clever or funny and I’m old enough to know better but I’m fed up. My TV’s not working and I wanted to watch the closing ceremony.
    Bye Dotty.

    • Dear Christine,

I couldn’t find any sheep. The Deer/Giraffe’s face could be shortened and the rest adapted to make a sheep, I think.

Bugger about your telly – did you get to see the ceremony? I don’t watch much telly but when it isn’t working I don’t like it – a few months ago my telly popped and fizzled out and I’m using a portable now. If that goes I’m stuffed.

    Dear Dotty,
That’s a little freaky. I’d keep thinking it would shit on my head. Even the bird’s nest one doesn’t look appealing because someone from the Chinese restaurant would always want strands of my hair for their bird’s nest soup! I think I’d rather where my graying locks and nothing more. Oh well, destined to be boring I guess.

  15. Dear Dotty,

Clearly there are hairdressers – and models – with more time on their hands than sense. And these are the people who the world things are sane.

    The mind boggles.
