Go to Reader — Blogs I Follow and at the bottom of the left hand column you’ll see, in small faded letters —
‘MANAGE EMAIL DELIVERY SETTINGS’
click on it, and down the list you’ll see a ‘FOLLOW COMMENTS’ box – untick it, and VOILA, no more emails.
Don’t all thank me at once.

But my phone used to beep all day long telling me I had new e-mails, which told me that people I follow put up new posts. Gee whiz, I would think to myself, I am just following them, we aren’t married.
